I made my first artist website in the summer of 2006 in Chicago. The photographs and mini movie in this website were taken during a technology workshop at the Art Institute of Chicago. The workshop required that I create a website of a Chicago landmark. I chose to make a website of my artwork and have the landmark be the roads of Chicago. That summer, I did more traveling out of state than usual by also visiting Santa Cruz, California. I’ve often wondered how distinctively different my north New Jersey road images would be if I had painted a similar series of roads and houses in other parts of the country and/or the world.
